Looking for an experienced Café Chef or Cook who, under the direction of our Executive Chef, will be responsible for the preparation of meals for our residents from pre-determined, and ala carte menus, ensuring the food quality and presentation meets fine dining standards.
Responsibilities include food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to cook for 40 people and manage our kitchen support staff guiding them to deliver quality food on time.
*This position requires working 3 10-hour shifts per week (usually until 6:00 pm) including some weekends.
Must have comprehensive food handling safety certificate and two (2) years experience.
